Hole 2

Info

Description

Passing the old forester’s lodge, you can see the white tees of the most difficult hole in the championship course. The striking rocks at the tees give this hole its name. Hole 2 is still a difficult fairway, especially due to its slope and the narrow landing zone. A placed long iron or a fairway wood from tea is followed by a medium iron uphill in the direction of the blind green: if you hit the flag, it is better to take one or two more irons. A bogey is no shame here.

Pro tips

From the champion tee, aim with a wood 3 or iron 2 over the striking rock nose towards the middle of the fairway. Keep to the right from the top tees, left side water threatens. The blind second shot into the green landed on the right instead of the left. The rising fairway demands one more racket.
