The Adamstal Golf Academy
A well-trained golf professional is at your disposal in the Adamstal Golf Academy. Our offer includes trial courses, individually designed company events, ÖGV handicap, individual lessons and team training.

Golf professional Billy MAHAFFY
- …has been teaching golf since 1984.
- After working in Scotland, Belgium and Denmark, he settled in Austria with his family in 1996 and has been “a fixture” at Adamstal Golf Club since then
- is married and has four children
Since 2017, golf entry to the ÖGV PLATZREIFE NEW has consisted of the following steps:
1) Club place permit (PE): (min. 3 people / max. 5 people)
The club course permit (PE) can be obtained in one weekend from our golf pro Billy Mahaffy.
The course takes place on Saturdays and Sundays from10:00 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 15:00 . (Exception August 19 and 20, here the course is only 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.)
With the PE test you are entitled to play on our 9-hole course Wallerbach against green fees and can thus gain your first golf experience.
Price for club place permit: € 150, –
2) Course for ÖGV handicap: (min. 3 people / max. 5 people)
The course takes place on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 15:00 .
- The course includes the consolidation and repetition of the basic training (PE)
- Play on the course and deepen the rules
- Regular check
- Preparation for the HCP Challenge (9 holes)
Price for the course: € 150, –
3) HCP Challenge (9-hole stableford tournament)
The HCP Challenge can be completed individually with the Golf Pro or as part of a 9-hole Wallerbach tournament.
